Family Pictures

Jillian is off to college in 3 weeks, so we had family pictures taken at Target on Friday. Usually I'm happy with my budget Target pics. Not.This.Time. I've been known to drop 50 bucks on a million "I have to have them all! Pictures of Grace!" With my coupon, I spent $15 on these ones. Perhaps the fact that Tyler has a demon-like look in his eyes is part of the problem?? Or that the little girl taking the pictures couldn't manage to see that Andrew's glasses were putting off a glare? Isn't that her job???
Oh well. We're saved in print for posterity. And I'm done with the "What the heck are we going to WEAR that we already have that doesn't have too much pattern on it so I don't have to drop $$$ on buying everyone matching shirts!!" That's all that matters!

The pictures look great, your family is beautiful!! Can't believe you're going to have a college student. Caitlin is starting high school, those three years go so fast.

I know Lesley! Remember at your Christmas party in 1988 when Andrew and I sat on Santa's lap and Lilian shouted out "they want a baby for Christmas!" Well, a week before the next Christmas Jillian was born :) Lilian has magic powers. I'm convinced.
Your Caitlin is a doll. I love your blog and seeing pics of her on Lili-Freakin-Lin's blog too! You're lucky to have such a close family.

Kara, if you aren't happy with your pics I'll GLADLY come and take some shots of your family before Jillian leaves!!!! Seriously!

You look smashing, darling! And the family looks great, too. Our family pictures never quite meet my expectations because I always want them to come out looking like an ad for Ralph Lauren clothing, and instead we look like a bad Sears ad. That's life!

Kara, I have just spent an hour reading all your posts, well, almost all. I didn't check out the recipes :o) I have learned so much about your family and didn't know you were working on loosing weight, and the word of the moment is "working". you look GREAT. It has been great learning more about you and your family than just 10 minutes at the Christmas party. Love to Jillian as she goes on her great adventure to college. Sounds like the boys are precious to you and you don't mind admitting it. As for Grace, she is beautiful. I hope you don't mind if I keep following up on you all. LOVE
