Fear vs. Faith

This is from a talk by our newest Apostle, Elder Neil L. Anderson

"Faith is not only a feeling; it is a decision.

Challenges, difficulties, questions, doubts—these are part of our mortality. But we are not alone. As disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have enormous spiritual reservoirs of light and truth available to us. Fear and faith cannot coexist in our hearts at the same time. In our days of difficulty, we choose the road of faith. Jesus said, “Be not afraid, only believe.”

And from dear President Monson:
"There will be nothing in this world that can defeat us. My beloved brothers and sisters, fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith."

I loved President Monson's quote. Thanks for sharing it in writing.

I SO needed to hear that again today. Satan has been dancing on my roof for two weeks and his feet are dangling through the chimney...so now I'm going to get rid of my fears and function on my faith!
